QUALITY SYSTEM

At GCL, Quality is a result, not a department.

From the first request for quotation, through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), to sampling (PPAP) and finally routing production, GCL uses an advanced computerized system to ensure accuracy (MQ1).

APQP is a true multi functional effort with representatives from Customer, Suppliers, Design, and Production. It ensures molds are designed to the highest standards to produce premium parts.

Our computerized system features a detailed process flow, followed by Failure Mode Effects Analysis of each process step to identify potential risks. Controls are then put in place to mitigate these risks. This results in process controls which detail every operation, every required tests, and reaction plans.

Team members are cross trained and responsible for casting quality.

RESULTS

The end result is consistent on time delivery of both molds and castings.
